TRADITIONAL PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES

Individual Therapy

This form of psychotherapy where the patient is treated on a one-on-one basis with the therapist. Individual therapy allows the therapist and the patient to focus on each other, build a rapport, and work together to solve the patient’s issues. 

Family Therapy

This is a form of psychotherapy that seeks to reduce distress and conflict by improving the systems of interactions between family members. It is an ideal counseling method for helping family members adjust to an immediate family member struggling with an addiction, medical issue or mental health diagnosis. It is also recommended for improving communication and reducing conflict.

Anger Management 

This is a goal-oriented therapeutic strategy that targets the emotional response to external factors that cause anger. The goal of anger management therapy is to help individuals express their feelings and needs in an assertive and appropriate way, identify solutions that are likely to upset them, so they can be emotionally prepared and recognize when they aren’t thinking logically.

Marriage/Couples Therapy Counseling

Involves both members of a couple meeting with a psychotherapist to help develop insight and resolve problems in relating to each other, thereby strengthening their relationship or if in the best interest, helping them separate in a collaborative and healthy way.

Group Therapy

Allows individuals to develop communication skills and socialization skills and allows them to learn how to express their issues and accept criticism from others. Group therapy allows individuals to develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues, creating a more harmonious interaction within the entire school setting.

Assisted Living Facilities Social and Emotional Support Sessions

This type of therapy helps with aging issues and provides support for senior citizens living in assisted living facilities. This therapy helps with issues dealing with new interdependence, boredom, and vulnerability that could come with transitioning to an assisted living facility.

Community Support Individual

This service assist clients in identifying strengths, resources, preferences and choices. They will aid in the development functional, interpersonal, family, coping, and community living skills that are negatively impacted by the client’s mental illness.

Mental Health Case Management

This service consists of planning, coordination, and advocacy services for clients who need multiple services and require assistance in gaining access to and in using mental health, social, vocational, educational, housing, public income entitlement, and other community services to assist the client within the community.

HEALING CENTERED &

COMMUNITY SERVICES


Our healing centered engagement (HCE) approach involves culture, spirituality, civic action, and collective healing. At TMH we view trauma not simply as an individual isolated experience but takes into consideration the whole client. Some of our HCE treatment include sound therapy, healing circles, yoga, mindfulness and meditation.

Wellness in Expressive Arts (WIEA)

Our Wellness in Expressive Arts (WIEA) pillar uses the power of arts to provide youth and adults with a welcoming, engaging environment to express themselves, build strong social networks, learn new skills, and contribute to the well-being of the community. This program includes any combination of writing, visual arts, drama, music, or other creative outlets. Expressive arts have been known to improve overall well-being and contribute to lowering depression, anxiety, and stress. Expressive arts can also help with self-awareness and self- esteem, release of feelings, social skills, relationship-building, and positive connections to art and community.

**GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE 
The No Surprises Act, which was passed by Congress in December 2020, aims to decrease unforeseen medical expenses for patients.

As per the guidelines outlined by The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, providers and facilities are required to provide Good Faith Estimates for individuals without insurance (or those who are self-paying).

To assist you in calculating the overall cost of your sessions, we have provided an example below, which uses our out-of-pocket rates. Additionally, our Intake department will also send this information to you via email.

Example:
$155 ( per 1 hour weekly individual therapy session) x4 ( If you see your therapist 4 times a month) = $620 monthly total
